The Toyota 4Runner SUV has been made popular for its old-school design and rock-solid reliability, but it's about time we get something new. A sixth-generation 4Runner has arrived to freshen things up for the 2025 model year, and it's based on an entirely new TNGA-F platform shared with the Tacoma, Land Cruiser, and Tundra, among others. The 4Runner continues to offer a third row, power rear window, and plenty of chunky buttons inside, though some new updates include a large 14-inch touchscreen, a set of new i-Force powertrains (including an i-Force Max hybrid making over 300 hp), and the addition of an overlanding-focused Trailhunter trim. Pricing will be announced closer to the new 4Runner's launch this fall.
