It's been nearly a decade since the current Audi Q7 made its debut, which means now would be a great time for Audi to return to the drawing board for its largest SUV. However, the automaker has opted instead to give the second-generation SUV another facelift, with changes that build on the initial refresh that arrived for the 2020 model year.
Details are limited to the European versions right now, but the U.S.-spec Q7 lineup is expected to receive similar updates for the 2025 model year.
Styling changes mostly take place at the front, where the Q7 gains repositioned headlights, a redesigned grille, and new bumper designs. The taillights gain new LED signatures to match those on the new headlights, featuring customizable graphics and animations. Exterior changes are rounded out with three new colors, including Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red, along with updated wheel designs.
Inside, the upgrades are mostly centered around tech, though there are also some new upholstery and trim options. The Q7's infotainment system adds support for integrated apps such as Spotify and Amazon Music, and a revised suite of driver-assistance features takes extra advantage of the digital instrument cluster with additional warnings displayed there.
The sportier SQ7 benefits from updates as well, adding a new front spoiler and rear diffuser. Powertrains for all models carry over, which means this sleeper performance SUV still makes 500 horsepower from its 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, while blasting from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.
U.S.-spec pricing for the updated Audi Q7 and SQ7 should be revealed closer to the 2025 model year launch, but we're predicting that it will be a bit higher than the current asking prices of $60,695 for the Q7 and $92,190 for the hotter SQ7.
