When the Ford Bronco returned for the 2021 model year, its main objective was to destroy Jeep's reign in the off-roading realm. While the Blue Oval has seen remarkable success with its reborn Bronco, some Jeep buyers ready to jump ship may be deterred by the Bronco's high prices in showrooms, which have been an issue since the SUV first launched.

Now, Ford is looking to ease things over with a new Jeep Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash incentive program, in which Jeep owners in select areas are offered $1,000 off a Bronco or Bronco Sport––as long as they give up that Jeep in their driveway.

In order to claim that $1,000, interested Jeep owners will have to reside in the Chicago, New York, or Phoenix regions. Owners near Atlanta and Dallas also qualify for the incentive, but it's limited to $500 in those places.

If you live in any of these areas, the next step is to purchase any 2024 Ford Bronco or Bronco Sport model (excluding the hardcore Bronco Raptor) or any remaining 2023 Bronco inventory. Of course, you must also trade in or sell your Jeep, which must be from the 1995 model year or newer, and the offer can be transferred to anyone who shares their address with the Jeep owner.

While this incentive is remarkably flexible for those who live in eligible areas, will $1,000 be enough for loyal Jeep fans to hand over their SUVs? We'll have to wait and see, but even if it doesn't work, we expect the Bronco to continue to enjoy plenty of success.
