Mitsubishi began to redeem themselves with the Eclipse Cross in 2018. But, it didn't help much. Sales are slow, and why name this after a legendary sports car instead of bringing it back? Well, very soon, Mitsubishi will reveal the new facelifted Eclipse Cross. We don't know exactly when it will be unveiled, but it is arriving at dealers in the first quarter of 2021 as a 2022 model.
As you can see, the coupe crossover is placed in between mirrors that reflect its revised front and rear fascias. Currently, the front is too busy. The 2022 model seems to be the same way, but it seems more modernized. The headlights are stretched farther towards the sides, and the fog lights and grille should be tweaked. The rear looks greatly improved, mostly because it currently looks like a Pontiac Aztek. The new taillights seem to be Lamborghini-inspired, which it great. Small details such as body lines and creases seem to be a bit different as well.
We also expect new safety and convenience technology, as well as a revised cabin. Again, sales start in Q1 of 2021, so a reveal could be right around the corner.
