Bentley, Bugatti, Rivian, Jaguar, Land Rover, And Aston Martin Forced To Stop Production

Yet another group of automakers shut down factories for two weeks or more due to the Coronavirus pandemic. FCA, Ford, Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, Volkswagen, and several others already did the same.

This is almost all the automakers that sell vehicles in the US. Could the temporary closing of factories affect automakers bigtime?

Well, the launch or sales of a new model could be a problem. Maserati’s MC20, Aston Martin’s DBX, and Ford’s Bronco could have a tough time at first.

Jaguar Land Rover have big plans for the future, such as a new, all electric XJ flagship, several other EVs like the Land Rover Road Rover, and Jaguar J-Pace. Maybe this could affect plans for these future models, possibly delaying their debuts. This already happened to the Ford Bronco and it’s less boxy Bronco Sport sibling.

After a few weeks, we hope the auto industry gets back to normal.
