Nissan Next Timeline: What We Think Will Arrive Soon

The teaser video, 'Nissan Next A to Z', previewed every new Nissan model in the near future. We don't know when anything is coming, aside from the fact that the Rogue and Ariya crossovers are here (or almost here). Also, we won't be mentioning non US models such as the Navara, Terra, Magnite, Qashquai, and Note. The rest of the bunch is on this list, where we will be predicting when they will come. Again, we don't know for sure, we are just guessing.

(1: Armada

The Nissan Armada has aged over the years, so it is in need of an update. It seems that the front and rear fascias will closely resemble the latest Patrol SUV, and the interior will be tweaked as well. More tech/safety features should come standard. Since this is a facelift, we'll expect this model the soonest. It could be unveiled in the fall at the earliest, going on sale in 2021.

(2: Frontier

The Nissan Frontier is the oldest unchanged pickup on the market right now, making it the cheapest. That could change soon. A decent price increase and from-the-ground-up redesign are to come. It'll look more like a baby Titan, with squared headlights and a longer, stronger silhouette. We expect it late this year, or early next year. It should be available at your nearby dealer next spring.

(3: Kicks

The Nissan Kicks was recently updated for Asia, and we know it'll come here. But, it hasn't had a US reveal yet, so you might have to wait. It has updated front and rear fascias, plus more updates that make it even better than before. It also has a bigger V-Motion grille, thinner headlights and paint color rear bumpers. Expect it sometime next year.

(4: Pathfinder

The Nissan Pathfinder is in need of a refresh, the current generation being on the market since 2013. It is falling behind its way newer competitors. It will definitely help Nissan grow their sales. It'll be bigger than before, and we expect more off-road capabilities. The first generation Pathfinder was more of an off-road SUV like the XTerra. The new Pathfinder should resemble the Rogue and Armada, and will have new technology. No CVT is planned. Expect it the wraps to come off in 2021.

(5: Rogue Sport

The Nissan Qashquai always gets an update a year or two before the Rogue Sport. We expect the new Qashquai in early 2021. But, the Rogue Sport is an important model, and should be the best it can be. But, it got a recent facelift, but it doesn't seem to be enough. Nissan might rush it to the US, so expect it in mid-2021. It'll look slightly different from the Qashquai as well.

(6: 400Z

The Nissan 370Z is growing old, and the 400Z is a big deal. It'll have retro design cues to pay tribute to the original 240Z. It won't resemble any other Nissan on the market with its circular headlights and smooth roofline. Expect it to be revealed in 2021, maybe even 2022, going on sale later in the year.
