The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq is the American marque's first all-electric model, leading the way for an all-electric future. Cadillac has revealed pricing, EPA range, and other specs for its electric crossover, which will be offered in RWD and AWD drivetrains.
Pricing for the entry-level RWD starts at $62,990, which is more than the loaded Debut Edition. The latter had a price tag of $59,990, but Cadillac told Motor1.com that it has "adjusted pricing to reflect the content of the vehicle." Despite this questionable change, the Lyriq still holds a great value for a vehicle at its price point. The Lyriq RWD has an EPA range of 312 miles, which is lower than the BMW iX, but is better than the Audi Q4 E-Tron. Order books for the RWD model will open on May 19, with deliveries beginning this fall.
Moving on to the AWD, the price rises to $64,990, though this version won't go on sale until next year, and range is yet to be announced. Cadillac has also revealed two new colors for the Lyriq, Opulent Blue and Crystal White, which are arguably more interesting than Satin Steel and Stellar Black.
Lyriq customers will be able to choose between two years of unlimited public charging credits for EVgo charging stations, or about $1,500 in credits for home charger installation. The $1,500 credits for the home charger can be used towards a Level 2 AC charger or for a 240-volt charger from Qmerit.
What do you think of the Lyriq's pricing?
