The ultimate expression of Rolls-Royce exclusivity can be found in the Phantom, which is the company's flagship vehicle. The Series II has made its North American debut at The Quail, with a handful of updates to keep the sedan as opulent as possible. The refreshed Phantom will also be more customizable than ever.
Light is a very important part of the Series II, with a newly illuminated Pantheon grille, laser-cut bezel starlights in the headlights, and Rolls-Royce's bespoke Starlight headliner. Other updates to the Phantom include a slightly adjusted grille for a more prominent appearance, new wheel options, and a wider C-pillar for improved rear passenger privacy.
The Phantom that is being showcased in Monterey features a two-tone paint theme with a black roof and Monteverde green body. A hand-made Peony Pink coachline contrasts these dark, sophisticated colors. The cabin features Scivaro Gray with Peony Pink finishes. Other trim pieces consist of Obsydian Ayous open pore wood and canadel panelling, while the gallery is embroidered with Scivaro Gray and Peony Pink stitching. This special commission was named 'Maverick,' and was made for Rolls-Royce's 2022 Pebble Beach Collection. It also includes a bespoke treadplate that says 'Pebble Beach 2022' Special Commission.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II will be showcased through the remainder of the weekend, until it wraps up on Sunday with Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The Series II is displayed alongside two bespoke creations for the Cullinan Black Badge and the Ghost. The Cullinan features a Forbidden Pink exterior, while the Ghost has an all-new Sagano Green exterior paint.
